(Abstract)
The present inventories of the Saint Parascheva Monastery in Iaşi, which complement the catalogue published by Mrs. Aurica Ichim in 2011, enrich the available information regarding the movable and immovable assets of this monastic establishment, founded by the great vornic of Ţara de Jos, Nestor Ureche, and dedicated to the Saint Catherine Monastery on Mount Sinai. Drawing upon the unpublished manuscript devoted to the Saint Paraschiva Monastery by Archimandrite Narcis Creţulescu, we have endeavoured to trace the destinations of the monastery’s liturgical objects, which disappeared following the demolition works completed in October 1880.
